    Emmanuel has over twenty years of experience in the healthcare industry. His passion for providing high quality healthcare lead him to establish LifeFit Physiotherapy in 2008.

    Emmanuel leads his team of physiotherapists and exercise physiologists with a focus on professional and personal development. He believes strongly in LifeFit’s core values of opportunity, accountability and integrity. Emmanuel instills in his team the belief that every patient should be treated as though they are a family member. This is evidenced by the warm and caring nature of the clinic.

    Emmanuel has established strong relationships and trust with local GPs, specialists and surgeons. This has contributed to the growth and success of the clinic.

    Outside of the clinic, Emmanuel enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. He has a keen interest in boating, fishing, water sports and watching his sons on the football field.

    Master of Physiotherapy (University of Queensland)

    Deepthi graduated from the University of Queensland with a Masters of Physiotherapy Studies in 2012. She has 10 years of experience working in musculoskeletal and sports injury clinics. Deepthi has vast experience in treating workers compensation and motor vehicle accident clients and assists them to return to their pre-injury duties. Her mantra is attentive listening to her clients and catering their treatment according to their needs. By the end of her sessions, Deepthi aims to empower her patients to be in charge of their health through exercises and understanding of the biomechanics of their condition.

    Deepthi’s special areas of interest are women's health, especially pre and post natal clients and Pilates based exercises. Being a mother of 2 young children, she understands the needs of young mothers and also pregnancy related issues.

    Outside of work, Deepthi loves to bake cakes, gardening, meditating, learning about inner-self/peace/mindfulness, pilates reformer classes and practicing breathing exercises (Pranayama).

    Chantal is a Physiotherapist with over 20 years of experience. She graduated from the University of Sydney and has also completed a degree in Sport Science from the University of NSW.

    Chantal has worked in many different clinical settings over the years. She worked at Nepean Hospital, gaining experience in all areas of Physiotherapy before moving into Private Practice. She travelled to London, where for 2 years she worked in the NHS system treating a wide variety of cases while following her passion for travelling. On return to Australia, she worked in both Private Practice and Aged Care. Chantal spent many years working in In-Patient and Out-Patient rehab at a local private hospital, helping patients post hip/knee and lumbar spine surgery, and general rehab of people who were deconditioned or had fallen.

    While pregnant, Chantal taught exercise classes to pregnant women, improving their strength and aerobic capacity. She also worked with post-natal women on their recovery from childbirth.  

    Chantal is experienced working with a wide range of patients such as adolescents, elderly, working professionals, post-partum mothers and sports athletes.

    Chantal enjoys working with all different patient groups and is motivated in getting the most out of each and every individual using her experience, empathy and sense of humour.

    Chantal enjoys blending hands on therapy, dry needling and individually designed rehabilitation programmes to ensure optimal recovery for all patients. And if ever you want to talk cricket (or any sport) with her during your sessions, she is more than happy to have the conversation!

    Motivated by her passion for health, fitness and caring for others, Laura completed her Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science and subsequent Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Technology Sydney. She had the opportunity to gain experience with patients from all walks of life during her time studying and believes it is this that allows her to deliver the highest quality care to her patients. She has a holistic approach to treatment and recognises the biopsychosocial dynamic of pain and its impact on recovery. Laura has a particular interest in orthopaedic post operative and post trauma rehabilitation, but most of all she enjoys helping her patients realise their potential, no matter the case. When she is not working, you will find her in the gym, exploring Sydney’s food scene or spending time with her family.

    With a notable passion for human anatomy, Yara completed a Bachelor’s degree in Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Technology Sydney, prior to graduating with a Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney. Yara enjoys working across all age demographics, with a particular interest in the management of sporting injuries, post-surgical and orthopedic rehabilitation. Yara’s patient-centered approach is rooted on evidence-based practice, focusing on individualized plans that cater to the unique needs of each and every person. For further professional development, Yara underwent training in dry needling, adding to her toolkit to increase patient outcomes.  Outside the clinic, her strong advocacy for health and exercise is reflected in her conventional hobby and love for a thrilling strength-based gym session.

    Celine graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy Honours (First Class) from Australian Catholic University. She has post-graduate experience working in hospital, community and private practice settings. Celine has extensive experience in the areas of chronic pain, orthopaedics, multi-trauma, aged care and neurology. 

    Celine believes in a holistic, person centred approach to care with a focus on exercise, hands on treatment as well as long term self-management and prevention. She has great attention to detail and is a keen listener with a passion for supporting people to achieve their goals!

    ​Outside of work, she is a passionate foodie and loves catching up with friends.

    Antonios completed a Masters of Physiotherapy at Sydney University as well completed a Bachelor of Sports and Exercise Science at the University of Technology Sydney. Antonios believes in the combination of both manual therapy with exercise based rehabilitation to assist his patients’ injury rehabilitation journey. He is passionate about helping individuals achieve their health and lifestyle goals. Antonios’s areas of interest include sports physiotherapy, having thoroughly enjoyed his experience as Team Physio for Sydney Olympic FC First Grade and Youth teams for two seasons. Antonios also has an interest in work-related injuries through worker’s compensation and CTP. 

    Outside of physiotherapy, Antonios plays soccer and has previously played in the NPL for UNSW/Dunbar Rovers. Antonios regularly attends the gym and has previously competed at the semi-elite level in Latin American Dancing.

    Jamiel is a Kogarah local, passionate about helping his community reach their full potential. As a Physiotherapist, he is committed to working with patients to help achieve their goals. Jamiel believes in patient-centred care and empowering patients to be at their best. With a tertiary background in High-Performance Sport, Jamiel has a keen interest in sports and rehabilitation; drawing on his experiences as both an athlete and a practitioner. Jamiel believes in promoting an active lifestyle for both himself and his patients. When he is not practicing, Jamiel enjoys playing football, oz-tag and being a die-hard St. George Dragons fan.

    Josh is a UTS graduate with a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science (Exercise Therapy) and a Master of Physiotherapy. He has had the privilege of working with diverse populations, from football and rugby clubs to hospital settings. His passion lies in musculoskeletal rehabilitation and sports; driven by his active lifestyle centered around playing tennis and strength training, as well as his own journey recovering from injuries. Beyond professional interests, Josh loves exploring new challenges, whether it be playing the guitar, learning a language or mountain trekking.

    Maddy graduated with a Bachelor of Medical Science degree and worked in compounding pharmacy and radiology before returning to university to study Exercise Physiology. Experiencing her own injuries playing competitive basketball and endurance running, Maddy developed an interest in injury prevention and a passion for promoting exercise as a part of a healthy lifestyle. Maddy believes exercise is not only required for becoming fitter and stronger, but it is also the key to a happier and longer life. 

    Maddy has a special interest in running, rehabilitation and managing neurological conditions. 

    Outside of work, Maddy loves running, skiing, reading and spoiling her two dogs.

    Angelique graduated with a Bachelor of Exercise Science and Rehabilitation at the University of Wollongong (UOW) in 2021. Angelique is accredited, and a member with, Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA).

    Angelique approaches clients with care and compassion in order to motivate and encourage them to return to their daily life activities with confidence. Seeing a range of chronic conditions and injuries within private practice, Angelique uses exercise and movement to improve the quality of life and function for her patients. She believes that a holistic and client-centered approach to treatment is important for all chronic conditions and injury management.

    Outside work, you will find Angelique spending time with family and friends or hunting for a good local coffee.

    Isabel joined the LifeFit team in 2012 as Receptionist and was promoted to Practice Manager in 2015. She has a range of experience in varied customer service roles. Isabel prides herself on running an organised clinic and keeping her staff happy and motivated. Isabel has successfully helped create an environment that feels like a second home. Outside of work, Isabel enjoys salsa dancing and going to the beach.

    Vivian joined the LifeFit team with many years of experience in both reception work as well as aged care. She loves to interact with patients. Outside of work, Vivan enjoys cooking and art.

    Athena is currently studying Sport and Exercise Science at UTS with plans to complete her Masters of Physiotherapy. Athena has a strong passion for ballet; dancing since the age of 6. She was accepted into the Bolshoi Summer Intensive Program in Florence, Italy in 2020. Athena is fascinated with all things relating to the human body and how exercise is so beneficial to us.

    Magdalene is a current university student, studying Bachelor of Physiotherapy. She has a keen interest in the human mind and body. Outside of her studies and work, Magdalene loves to surf, skate and going on fun adventures. She believes having a healthy body is closely correlated to having a healthy mind and hence, keeping active is one of Magdalene’s non-negotiables.
